Problem

Many habit trackers overwhelm users with data instead of encouraging consistent progress.

My Approach

I focused on simplifying the experience, surfacing meaningful progress, and creating interactions that motivate users to return.

Outcome

The project strengthened my understanding of information hierarchy, visual feedback, and designing for long-term engagement.

Early Concepts

In this proposed concept, users can see their statistics on several detailed screens and compare themselves from the day or week prior. They can also see if they are on track to reach their goal before their chosen period (ie. 10,000 steps in one day).

lo fi prototypes

These mid-fidelity prototypes were used to conduct usability testing. The feedback was then consolidated and used to produce the high-fidelity prototypes.

Final Design

Users will be able to see their activity details as well as an overview of their daily goal completion. Additionally, they will see whether they are trending positively or negatively depending on their goals.

Users can check changes in their weight over a long period. These trends help them see if they are on the right track for reaching their goals.

Visual Design

This style guide was designed as a source of truth for Habit Hero's redesign.
